Description

“Is the open plan office best for productive working – Have we gone too far?”

Variety of choice is the key to balancing the business advantages with the individual’s effectiveness in the workplace. We are all individuals and getting the most out of each person will benefit the business the most. Our panel of experts will debate for and against the open plan office, and whether or not we have gone too far.

The panel:

Neil Usher - Chief Workplace Officer at GoSpace | Author (The Elemental Workplace) | Blogger (workessence). Neil is an internationally experienced senior property, workplace, facilities and change management leader, skilled in all areas of the property lifecycle.

Bridget Workman - Bridget is a world expert on Smart Working, property portfolio (asset /estate) management, workplace transformation and property performance measurement and for over 20 years she has been at the forefront of developing Smart Working principles and practice for the UK Government.

Steve Wright - Steve is an experienced design professional with an extensive history in the Architecture & Design industry. He is fascinated by the marriage of people, place and process in the workplace sector and its continued evolution. His focus on optimised Workplace Design has led to project commissions for a wide range of multi-national organisations. Steve is also committed to the sharing of best practice and improving industry standards through his involvement with CoreNet where he sits on the London Workplace Committee. He is also a contributor to The Corporate Real Estate Journal.

Fiona Anderson - Workplace Director and founding Board Director at Aberley Ltd. Fiona has developed their utilisation survey offering to inform a database covering millions of square metres over the past 7 years. More importantly, that supports the analytics and change offering which is delivered to clients across public and private sectors, working with people in media, technology, government and financial services amongst others
