All of our available tickets for this event are now spoken for. If you are a Caltech student and missed out, we invite you to come to the door on the night of. If we have any no-shows (we often do) we might be able to get you in.

(We just have to obey max capacity for the space for fire safety concerns.)




This event will include FREE* dinner, a talk and Q&A from Dr. David Baltimore, and a time for conversation in smaller groups about the ethical questions around human gene editing.

Our Guest Speaker: Dr. David Baltimore

‘David Baltimore is a Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine and served as president of Caltech from 1997 to 2006. He is currently the President Emeritus and Robert Andrews Millikan Professor of Biology at Caltech.

Baltimore has profoundly influenced international science, including key contributions to immunology, virology, cancer research, biotechnology, and recombinant DNA research, through his accomplishments as a researcher, administrator, educator, and public advocate for science and engineering.’ Read more at Wikipedia »
