Is a college degree worth it? A LIFT Mentor Panel Discussion.
Join us as we address the controversial topic of whether a college education is worth the money or the effort. This event is part of The Leaders Inspiring Fruitful Tomorrows (LIFT) Mentor Project, which includes three programs aimed at renewing the importance of a college education, improving diversity in higher education, and providing families with strategies and tools to increase college participation and successful graduation. You can learn more about this program and our organization at www.liftnpo.com.
This discussion will be geared toward students in junior high, high school, and those enrolled in two-year or vocational degree programs. Family members are also encouraged to attend. We also welcome anyone who is interested in being a participant in the discussion.
This is not a library-sponsored event and the presence of LIFT in the library meeting/conference room does not constitute endorsement by the library.
