Description

The Skilled Trades Rotation is a free voluntary training event where individuals learn about trade and craft skills by getting their hands dirty doing the trade for a few hours. Participants visit a Training Site, get a block of instruction, and then complete a 2-4 hour project. The event is open to transitioning service members, Military Spouses, Veterans and their families over the age of 18.

What does a typical Skilled Trades day look like?

8:00 AM – Load Bus

9:30-10:00 AM – Arrive at Training Site

10:00-11:30 AM – Instruction Time

11:30-12:00 PM – Lunch (bring your own)

12:00-4:00 PM – Complete 2-4 hour project

4:00 PM – Load Bus for return to JBLM.
