This is a family-friendly event that is open to the public and FREE to attend! Only participants pay a fee, spectators are FREE.

The Fauquier K-9 and Community Organization, in conjunction with the Virginia Police Canine Association, is hosting an Iron Dog Competition on October 21, 2023 at Kettle Run High School in Nokesville, VA (Fauquier County). This event will feature approximately 50 law enforcement and military K-9 teams from all over Virginia and the DC area. These K-9 teams run a 1.5 mile course (approximate) where they complete a number of stations pertaining to the skills the K-9s are trained in. This competition is designed to test the strength, stamina, and teamwork of the K-9 Handler and their K-9.

This is a family-friendly event that is open to the public and FREE to attend! Please invite your friends and family out and share the event on your Facebook pages. There will be a vendor fair and food trucks on site. We also have plenty of raffle items to give away! You do not need to be present to win the raffle items. More information will be available as details are confirmed. Please spread the word!
