Are you ready for the toughest homebrewing competition? Do you have what it takes to be an IRON BREWER!?

This year will be IN PERSON & VIRTUAL! We're incentivizing on-site brewing, but ANY contestants can participate via Zoom.

Each ticket is per person. If you would like to enter as a team up to 2 people, each person needs to purchase a ticket and email to notify us of partners. $20 event t-shirts are also available upon request.

Brewers will bring their equipment to the shop on 6/10/23 @ 9am (may set up earlier out back, but staff won’t be there). You’ll be given a secret ingredient to form a recipe around, before brewing on the spot. The Cleveland Brew Shop will be giving a 20% off discount. The secret ingredients will NOT be provided, but some may be given away as prizes. In-person brewers will also have the option to re-draw an ingredient if they aren't happy with their first pull.

Beers will be taken home to ferment and the ingredient may be added anytime during the process. Beers are due to the shop before July 7th for judging. We’d prefer 12 oz bottles, and at least 3 of them. Growlers or 22oz bombers are acceptable as well, if 36oz or more are provided.

The Award Ceremony is on Thursday July 13th. There will be medals for all of the usual categories: 1st-Honorable Mention, Best Name, Best Label, Most Creative, Best Tasting Presentation, People’s Choice, and everyone’s favorite — Epic Fail!
