At its peak Ireland boasted Thousands of Distilleries (legal & illicit), but by 1975 till 1987 there were only 2 active LEGAL distilleries left in ALL of the Irish Republic & Northern Ireland.

(Midleton, County Cork, Irish Republic & Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland).

In the short years since 2007 the Irish Whisk(e)y Distilling Industry has grown from just 4 to OVER 50 Active Distilleries & 8 Merchant Bonders with their own Bonding Warehouses.

In this class you will learn about the growth in the Irish Whiskey Industry and the various expressions being produced.
