Overview:
Iris Powered by Generali is sponsoring an event for women in technology where we will highlight two tools our team is using at scale.
We will discuss how our development team leverages Storybook and Component Driven Development to simplify the management of complex UI components and then we will discuss how our QA team uses AWS to manage complex release deployments.

5:30-6:00pm: Meet and Greet for Women in Technology
6:00-6:45pm: Storybook and Component Driven Development

- How CDD can help to solve the problem of managing large frontends with many complex components
- How our frontend team leverages Storybook and CDD at scale
- Workflow for breaking-down an example screen into components
6:45-7:30pm: How do Iris QA Engineers interact with AWS for release deployments?

We will discuss:
- How did the QA team take over releases from development staff?
- What are the benefits of QA leading releases?
- How does QA use AWS for Iris' Release Process?
- What other AWS services does QA use to test?
