IRIS 2023

In the spirit of springtime and honour of a resilient Calgary community, we bring you IRIS 2023. This inaugural year is one emblematic of renewal and reconnection. After too much time apart, let’s gather in support of Emma House.

With local ties, Emma House provides safe haven through supportive transitional housing for expectant mothers experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Entirely unique in its mandate, the organization ensures mothers and their little ones are provided the opportunity to transition and transform–-blooming into new lives and promising futures.

IRIS stems from the same ethos—where our community unites to lift each other up. In celebration of these intrinsic ties, IRIS presents an evening of renewal, celebration and laughter with some of the city’s greatest talent and featuring a performance by Canadian TV personality and Comedian Jessi Cruickshank. Regardless of the heights we individually reach, our roots remain entwined. By showing your support—in spirit or presence—with energy, visibility, time or financial means—you are playing a valuable part. Because when we stand together, there is always a place for the one who needs, to lean.
