🚤 IRB Crew Course – Learn, Train & Rescue! 🌊
Are you ready to take your surf lifesaving skills to the next level? This course gives you the knowledge and confidence to crew an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) in real rescue operations.
✨ Learning Outcomes
✅ Crew an IRB – from set-up to safe crewing positions in the surf
✅ Perform emergency procedures & identify hazards/risks
✅ Maintain an IRB – pre- and post-operational checks & reporting damage
✅ Conduct conscious/unconscious casualty pick-ups
✅ Tackle complex rescues (swimmers, sailboarders & kite surfers)
📅 Course Dates
- Tuesday 14th October, 6:00pm – Theory
- Sundays 6:00am: 19th Oct, 26th Oct, 2nd Nov
- Assessment: Sunday 9th Nov
🎓 Qualifications

- Bronze Medallion (patrolling & surf awareness skills)
- Minimum age: 15 years at the final assessment date
