Description

*Tickets on sale to the general public starting September 25 at 8am**

Find a babysitter for the kids and join us on Halloween night for the "Brewer's Ball", a 21+ halloween party of epic proportions, featuring the Night of the Living Dead Rock Stars Costume Contest and live music by Cold Engines.

Tickets cost $20 each if purchased in advance online (a limited amount of tickets may be available at the door for $25 each). Your ticket includes:

  • Admission to the event, including live music, costume contest with cash prizes, photo booth, door prizes, and more
  • A delightfully delicious array of fun appetizers in our "Creepy Buffet" from 8pm-9pm
  • One drink ticket (valid for any beer, wine, or nonalcoholic beverage)
  • Additional drinks and food available for purchase

This is a ticketed event that runs from 8pm until midnight on Tuesday, October 31. (Please note that the restaurant will be closed to the public starting at 6pm for event preparations.)

We highly recommend buying your tickets in advance online in order to guarantee your spot. A limited amount of tickets may be available at the door starting at 8pm if tickets do not sell out online.

The theme of the costume contest is "Dead Rock Stars". Cash prizes will be awarded to the best costumes that fit the theme. (If your favorite musician is still alive, just dress as a zombie version!)

A limited "munchie menu" will be available for additional food purchases from 9pm-11pm.

Please note: Online ticket sales end at 5pm on Tuesday, October 31. A limited number of tickets may be available for purchase at the door for $25 each unless the event is sold out. We highly recommend buying your tickets in advance.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes! All attendees must be 21+. A valid form of identifcation showing proof of age MUST be shown at the door to enter.

What are the rules about costumes?

Costumes and props must be worn and carried with absolutely no risk of injury to people or property. Any costume that makes a mess will not be allowed, so that means no glitter, confetti, excessive blood/gore, or anything sticky/gooey/wet/oily. Real weapons, sharp objects, pyrotechnics, fire, flame, projectiles, illegal substances, or smoke generators of any kind are not allowed. And no nudity! “No costume is not a costume!”

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available at the brewery, on neighborhood streets, and at the town parking lot located off of Hammatt Street. The brewery is also accessible via public transportion (downtown Ipswich stop on the MBTA Newburyport/Rockport commuter rail line)

What should I bring to the event?

You must show a valid form of identifcation showing proof of age at the door to enter so don't forget to bring your ID! You should also wear a costume-- not required but definitely preferred! The theme for the Costume Contest is Dead Rock Stars ( but if you don't care about the cash prizes, feel free to wear any costume you'd like). No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the restaurant (also no dogs, and no one under the age of 21.)

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can contact Jamie, the events manager of Ipswich Ale Brewery, at 978-356-3329 or jamie@ipswichalebrewery.com

What's the refund policy?

Refunds can be processed via the eventbrite site up to 7 days before the event (October 24). After that date, no refunds will be allowed for any reason.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No! As long as the name on your ID matches the name on your ticket order, you are all set! No need to bring a printed or mobile ticket.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes! You can change registration info at any time. Please make sure the name on the ticket order matches the name on your ID.

Will tickets be available for purchase at the door?

Maybe not! If we sell all tickets in advance online, then no tickets will be available at the door. We highly recommend you order your tickets in advance online. Any tickets that are available at the door will cost $25 each.
