Description

iPhone Photography: Get the most out of your iPhone camera with this informal session. This hands-on course will take participants through the various still and video settings for acquiring quality images as well as adjusting color, contrast and composition of still images once they are in your photo library. Learn how to make the most of the camera in all modes including panorama, slow-motion and time lapse video.

The session will be 4 hours and will include instruction, plenty of examples of dos and dont's, short assignments to practice your new found skills and finally, sharing images of the results among the group.

Instructor(s): Michael Sacca, https://vimeo.com/user3702809/videos

Michael Sacca began working with cameras when he was 12 years old. Early efforts were with his father’s 8mm movie camera, making stop motion shorts featuring the antics of neighborhood kids. His experience in film and video grew from work in photography, which has always played a central role in his image making. His cinematic vision has been incubated from his interest in art, photography and the natural world.

Number of Sessions: This course meets one time.

Materials to Bring: Must own and bring an iPhone. Participants may want to bring their laptops to download or share images.

Restrictions or Requirements: Ages 12 and up; Must own and bring an iPhone and have at least some familiarity of its use as a camera.
