The Latino College Access Network (Latinos CAN) is an initiative of the Office of Latino Affairs, Iowa Department of Human Rights, and it's partially funded by Iowa College Aid.
The Latino Education Summit will provide educators, administrators, faculty, school counselors, coaches, recruitment, front line and other staff from K-12 institutions, Colleges & Universities, and others working with Latino students across the state an opportunity to obtain cultural best practices, information, guidance, tools, and strategies that can be implemented to serve, retain and catapult Latino students and close the Latino academic achievement gap from higher education and the workforce
In addition, Latino college students will receive resources, information, and practical tools to help them overcome barriers, self-advocate, and succeed.
