Iowa BIG is a transformative, learner-centered, initiative-based high school program shared by the Cedar Rapids, College, and Linn Mar Community School Districts.

Iowa BIG hosts two visit days annually. Visit days are targeted at educators and community members interested in learning more about the Iowa BIG model and how it works. Participants will learn the history and design principles of BIG, hear directly from students and teachers about their BIG experience, and learn the basics of the model.

Topics include: challenging assumptions, scheduling, assessment, credentialing and transcripting, and engaging partners.

Fee includes materials, snacks and lunch.
