John Henry Müller (Founder, Designer, Former Design Director at Hudl)

John Henry Müller makes things that make people happy. He is an independent designer with 18 years of professional experience. He helps his clients with brand/product strategy, experience design, and visual design.

Recently, John Henry worked as a Design Director at Hudl, a sports technology software used by teams around the world. At Hudl, he focused on visual design spanning both product and brand design, with a team of over 30 designers. John Henry led the visual direction of Uniform, Hudl's design system. (uniform.hudl.com)

Before Hudl, John Henry was the design cofounder of a startup called Pack. Before that, he founded a design/dev consultancy called What Cheer. John Henry lives in Benson, Omaha, Nebraska with his wife, two daughters, dog, and two cats. He sits on the board of Maha—a conference (fka “Big Omaha”) and music festival. He was gluten-free before (and after) it was cool.

Designing Uniform: Scaling Design at Hudl with a Design System

In this 20 minute talk, John Henry talks about the problem Hudl set out to solve with the Uniform (Hudl's design system), how the team approached the problem, snags along the way, and practical tips for others looking to scale design.

Amy Gehling (Founder of Story Seven)

Story Seven is a consulting firm that helps clients build and communicate their story with strategic and visual thinking tools. Since founding Story Seven, Amy has consulted with a variety of organizations, including everything from small localized non-profits to brands with national and international audiences. Amy’s strong background in both design and business principles makes her uniquely equipped to develop these strategies. Story Seven’s visual thinking approach empowers each client to communicate their unique way of doing things, resulting in greater internal and external understanding.

Amy is a bit of a nomad. She loves to travel and take in new environments, finding it helps keep her creative energy in balance. Outside of Story Seven, her passion projects include Growthology Lab and fair-trade fashion products.

Explaining the Way You Do Business with Visual Thinking

Simon says, "Start with why.” Amy says, “Don't forget the how.” Your ideal customer needs to understand how you can help them before they know why they should trust you. When you can clearly explain the “how” behind what you do, you open doors for process improvement, scalability and increased consistency. This presentation will focus on why you should look at your organization’s process through the lens of visual thinking.

Ryan Wegenast (Founder, Speaker, Coach)

Hi, I'm Ryan Wegenast, I am San Diego & Nashville based with my very British wife and two daughters. I lead a transformative personal mastery company that helps Visionaries, Founders, and Entrepreneurs, experience deep personal and professional breakthrough, by moving quickly and powerfully through life’s real inner-conflicts.

You see as Visionaries; we aren't naturally wired to pause and confront our inner-conflicts, we are wired to keep building. So…we keep building. After facilitating years of transformational coaching, we discovered that the only difference between those who are living and achieving at their highest potential and those who aren’t. Comes down to ONE CRITICAL (and learnable) SKILL…It is this: the ability to be honest with and move quickly through the area’s of life that feel “stuck.”

How Getting "Unstuck" is the Big Felt Need in 2019

This 20-minute journey is 100% focused on you and your next breakthrough. Braided with heart and humor, we are going to create space for you to start eliminating the one big limiting belief that is stopping you from having a powerful living experience.
