Event description

Description

As we finish up our second year of Talking About Race and Still (at least kind of) Liking Each Other we’re going to bring it all home to our hometown, where we live together. Or where we don’t really live together so very much. We’ll go deep into personal experience of living here, going to school here, being black, white, or brown here. We’ll talk about what we imagine our future is and what it can become if we do _______.

Appetizers on us, drinks (and additional food) available for your purchase.

Use those daring notions that brought you to this page to bust out a tune (maybe even one from a musical artist with identities different than your own!) to stick around after for karaoke at 7:00!

We are incredibly grateful to be able to present this with on-going support from: The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation through the Community Foundation of North Florida and the National Endowment for the Humanities through the Florida Humanities Council.
