Investor Open House September 25 at Hall Labs

Hall Labs is a 100 acre campus in Provo, which houses several notable businesses and has also fallen in one of Utah’s opportunity zones. Because of this, they have formed a Qualified Opportunity Fund, based around their operating companies, rather than the more common land development model. They have been getting attention at a national level, both because of the fund and their proven track record of incubating companies. They tend to specialize in using technology to disrupt consumer products.

They have a wide range of businesses (building materials, medical device, automotive accessories) and their current flagship, Vanderhall automotive (what a ride) is a $25M a year business growing around 100% a year with 50 dealerships around the country, and yes you’ll get to drive (weather permitting)! Founded by Tracy Hall a BYU professor that developed a way to manufacture synthetic diamonds, profitably many of us either know him or of him.
