Event description

Description

Historic Tax Credits are an effective, but often complicated, tool for community development. This intensive workshop will focus on the use of the historic tax credits beyond the basics. Panels of industry professionals, government officials and experts in the field will discuss topics integral to the successful execution of the historic tax credit projects, including:

- partnership structuring and syndication

- common pitfalls with NPS approval

- what to look for in a good tax credit project

- case studies demonstrating innovative solutions to common challenges

Featured speaker Renee Kuhlman, from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will highlight the recent advocacy effort to save the federal tax credit and the importance of strong state credits. Join us for this important deep dive into tax credits. Refreshments will be available.

Attorney CLE, Real Estate CEU, and AIA LU credits anticipated.

Many thanks to our planning partners: Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia and Temple University Real Estate Institute
