Resilient from the Start: Investing in a Stable, Trauma-Sensitive Early Childhood Education Workforce
Join Greater Twin Cities United Way’s 80x3: Resilient From the Start for a community conversation on the future of a trauma-sensitive Early Childhood Education workforce in Minnesota.
Participants will leave this session with a deeper understanding of:
· How to lead an organization rooted in trauma-sensitive care and culturally responsive practices.
· How to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-sensitive professional development for educators and those who work with young children
· Past and current efforts in the Early Childhood Education system to change practices, policies and increase investments.
80x3: Resilient From the Start will host this event in partnership with Embracing Equity, a leading anti-racism organization for education professionals. Our time together will include a review of the 80x3 initiative, a panel discussion featuring local Early Childhood Education leaders and a workshop facilitated by Embracing Equity.
