Inverting is an important part of our practice that prepares the body and mind for the more subtle work of pranayama and meditation. Headstand and Shoulderstand are recognized as the King and the Queen Pose to help us access these higher gateways with in. Handstands and Pincha Mayurasana give us the feeling of courage and strength to lift ourselves off the ground and teach us how to stabilize the shoulders and core to prepare for longer holds in sirasana. Learn how to access this somewhat difficult poses and practice with grace and ease and get up and stay up!
