About this Event

In this dynamic workshop, filmmaker and journalist, Assia Boundaoui, discusses her documentary, The Feeling of Being Watched (2018), and how to conduct an “inverse surveillance” - ways to discover what public information is collected about you via the Freedom of Information Act and methods to artistically resist surveillance.

Boundaoui’s film, The Feeling of Being Watched, is playing at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Doris Duke Theatre on Friday, December 13 at 7 pm. Get tickets here.

The workshop at Shangri La is a part of The Inverse Surveillance Project.
