Inventing Contraptions Camp
Mon, Jul 3, 2017, 9:00 AM – Fri, Jul 7, 2017, 12:00 PM PDT
In this week long half-day summer camp, campers with the help of our instructors will design and build different contraptions to solve challenges presented to them. Each day campers will be exposed to different aspects of science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) such as: circuitry, truss structures, power transfer, design process, and many other concepts. A few examples of projects a student might build in this class are rubber band cars, hidden alarms, confetti launcher, and ping pong ball kicker. This class is perfect for a beginning inventor or a highly experienced inventor.
This camp for students aged 11 - 15 and meets Monday through Friday from 9am to noon. This camp does not meet on July 4th.
