Event description

Description

The Intros and Innovators event will take place on February 21st from 5:00-6:30 pm at the 707 Hub on Marquette’s campus. The event is sponsored by the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation Initiative and Business Career Services.

This year it will feature a “reverse pitch” from startups, non-profits and innovative companies that have project work, internships and full-time positions available and will conclude with a networking reception. This event is open to undergraduate and graduate students from any college and major.

The reverse pitch format
Each participating organization will have 3-minutes to share a little bit about their organization and the specific opportunities available. We will not be showing any slides or using PowerPoint during the reverse pitch, but you are welcome to bring any collateral or materials with you to display on a table. This is a great opportunity for Marquette students to learn about the opportunities you have available and inquire/connect onsite.

How do I sign up to participate?
If you have project work, internships and full-time positions and are interested in sharing those, please RSVP on Eventbrite by January 24th. During checkout you will be prompted to answer a few short questions, including:

  • Name of organization
  • Name of presenter
  • Names of additional attendees from organization
  • Any details on positions available or links we can share before or after the event
  • Are the positions paid, unpaid, combination
  • Best way to contact you with additional details
