More INFO

FertilityCare Practitioners (FCP) of the Creighton Model System have been rigorously trained to teach women, and couples/spouses to understand and observe the characteristics of the cervical mucus and other biological markers through the fertility and infertility cycle enabling them to practice true Natural Family Planning.

NaProTECHNOLOGY (Natural Procreative TECHNOLOGY), which is practiced by especially trained doctors, uses those observations to guide the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and reproductive problems only in those women that have fertility or menstrual problems in a manner that is fully consistent with scientific knowledge of the natural fertility cycle and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The Creighton Model FertilityCare System has been shown to be highly successful helping women to achieve or avoid pregnancy where couples/spouses will selectively choose to have more family or not. It strengthens the marital bond through the teaching of the multi-dimensional aspects of human sexuality, this is what we call SPICE (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Communicative, and Emotional) teaching.

The chart employed by all users to document their observations of the cervical mucus and other biological markers can be shown to a physician trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY, also known as a Medical Consultant, who uses it as a powerful tool (together with the history of the patient, the physical exam and laboratory tests) to aid in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases of the reproductive system. These include Infertility, Endometriosis, Depression, Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), Post Partum Syndrome, Miscarriages, Irregular or Abnormal Bleeding, Hormonal Abnormalities, Excruciating Menstrual Cramps, Pre Menopause, Ovarian Cysts, and other health problems.
