Event description

Description

With minimal investments of time and money, and while remaining focused on doing business today, you can design a baseline strategy for your eventual exit by participating in The EXIT BASECAMP.

According to the 2016 Business Enterprise Institute (BEI) Business Owner Survey:

  • Most Business Owners want to exit their businesses within the next 10 years (79%).

  • Most Business Owners believe that their exit will occur because of planning and action items they implement (80%).

  • Most Business Owners have not created a concrete, written plan for their exits (83%) and have not talked to someone whom they considered to have expertize and training in exit planning (82%).

BASECAMP is an eight-month program with one three-hour group meeting per month in months two thru eight. There is no charge or obligation for the 90-minute Introductory Meeting in September as it will serve in providing an Overview of Exit Planning and BASECAMP.

Who should attend? Any business owner at any stage of growth. The more time you have to build your business the right way and plan personally the more options you will have in exiting your business successfully when you're ready. Also, there is a need to be prepared for the unexpected.

The program formally begins in in month two (October) and runs through April of 2018 with a monthly investment of $395 per month. The monthly fee includes one optional 60-minute coaching session per month. Each session will include a presentation by ELP and/or a subject-matter-expert, discussion, Q&A, and time for planning next steps.

With a minimal investment of 24 hours and $2,800, you can have a baseline plan for a successful exit.

Deliverables include:

  • Gain knowledge. You don't know what you don't know.

  • Clarify owner-based goals & objectives. Discuss the impact on business continuity as well as financial, tax, wealth, philanthropic, and estate planning and the need and opportunities for coordination and integration.

  • GAP Analysis. Meaningful planning requires accurate data.

  • Assessing and strengthening business value drivers

  • Tax, business, and operational strategies for minimizing risk

  • Planning for the unexpected (business continuity)

  • Increased understanding of various exit routes

  • The importance of coordinating exit planning w/financial, philanthropic, & estate planning

We also make available a discount of 50% on our Business Valuation service ($750 Savings) for all BASECAMP participants.

For additional information, please contact Pat Ennis at pat@ennislp.com | 301-943-8203, or review the BASECAMP presentation at ENNIS Legacy Partners.

We want to help you and your business be prepared for that time "when you're ready to exit."
