Introduction to Traditional Mexican Medicine and Sobadas Workshop

Join me in a 2 days workshop in the beautiful San Diego, California to learn the basics of healing using Traditional Mexican Medicine and Abdominal Sobada.

What you will learn:

Bases of Traditional Mexican Medicine.

Deconstructing our idea of health. Learning the ancient philosophy of the Mexhica people related to health.

Building a relationship with our uterus. Building a relationship with nature. Moon calendar.

Main elements of the Mexican Sobada (the body, the soul & spirit, the mind): aire, susto, hierbas.

Hands-on abdominal work. You will learn the abdominal "massage".

About this workshop:

a) This is not a certification you won’t become a sobadora after this workshop but you will learn the basics to start your journey.

b) This workshop is open to mujeres only. Women of all backgrounds and races are welcome here. Moms, tías, grandmas, birth workers, body workers y’all are welcome.

c) You don’t need any special background to take this workshop. You only need to have a uterus, identify as women (if for any medical reason your uterus was removed you are welcome here too), and have the call to be a healer.

d) You need to have an open heart and an open mind to learn the lesson that were given to me and that I will give to you.

e) You will receive a Manual to return to this info whenever you need it.

f) You will need to feel comfortable touching your body, letting other women touching your abdomen, and touching other women’s abdomen. This is for the practice part.

h) There is a 15 days refund policy. After this time there is only 50% refund . Thank you for honoring my time and effort for doing this. I promise I will honor you time too.

i) If you missed the workshop for any reason your ticket is not transferrible to any other product, service, class or workshop.

1. Any person with covid/flu symptoms will have to remain home.

2. In case of covid/flu you can resale your ticket or donate it. Please communicate with me first.

3. The use of mask in this event is optional. The room will allow enough space among participants.
