ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
UX Design Instructor @ General Assembly
Megan has a degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and scrappiness. Since 2006 she’s used her knowledge of how people and technology work to help us connect and live better lives. In 2012 Sony execs found the qualitative and quantitative research programs she ran helpful for achieving record profits on Sony's e-commerce website store.sony.com. After working for large companies like Sony and Qualcomm in San Diego she now does UX consulting for start ups in SF.
Her design experience ranges from re-designing physical building structures to e-commerce websites and mobile iOS apps. She is a speaker and in a previous life she helped organize UX events including the UX Speakeasy Conference (www.uxsconf.com) and the San Diego ACM CHI chapter. Her long term goals is to make a dent in the universe while living in the Bay Area, New York or abroad. She is passionate about education, loves teaching and is excited to part of another GA UX course.
