The Cottage Food Law that was passed in 2011 allows individuals to prepare goods in their home kitchen and sell them via various outlets without a need for inspection or permitting from the USDA. However, there are county and city requirements that you still need to be aware of.
If you're interested in pursuing this opportunity, join us in this free informational session that will answer many questions about this new law, such as:
What can/can't I sell?
What qualifies as a home kitchen?
Can I sell my goods online?
What is the maximum profit I can make per year?
Why are certain goods allowed while others are not?
Are there any requirements or licenses required by Osceola County?
You only need to register for ONE session; the same information is provided in both.
