Inamoto Hyakuten Sensei, Buddhist monk from Kyoto Japan, Founder of Komyo ReikiDo is presenting a lecture on Usui Reiki Ryoho in Sedona AZ.

About this event

'Open to All;' Reiki practitioners, non-practitioners, those interested in learning more about this Japanese Healing Art or Japanese culture.

Learn about the history of Reiki Ryoho, a Japanese Healing Art. Enjoy a presentation about Kurama-yama; spritual birthplace of Reiki Ryoho.

Participate in Japanese Reiki practices of Gyosei (reading of a waka from the Emperor Meiji), the Gokai (Reiki Precepts), in English and Japanese. Participate in a Reiki Mawashi (circle). Experience a self-guided Reiki Meditation and/or a brief Reiki session.

Hyakuten will also be a leading a mulit-day workshop for Reiki Teachers of all Lineages, as he teaches his 'Keep it Simple' Reiki System whose motto is 'Place Hands. Surrender. Smile.'

Join other Reiki Teachers from around the world in welcoming Hyakuten Sensei for this historic event for 'first-time' in Sedona. Originally scheduled for 2020, in honor of his 80th birthday, we have had to 'shift' a few times, due to the pandemic. Now, rescheduled for 10/2021 at a new venue in a beautiful, peaceful setting at Poco Diablo Resort.

Karen Pischke BSN, RN has an extensive background in critical care nursing. In 1998, Karen's work shifted to 'wellness and prevention,' leading her to practice complementary therapies in integrative healthcare. Dreamtime Welness™ was founded in 2000. Karen offers evidence-based services (meditation, guided imagery, hypnosis, reiki (sessions, shares, clinics and trainings)and education for empowering 'self-care' tools. The goal: providing stress and pain relief, promoting behavioral changes for positive lifestyles, and creating greater levels of inner peace, health and happiness.

Trained to the Teacher level in 2 Reiki Systems; Western Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Japanese Komyo Reiki (Teacher) Shihan. Karen continues to follow renown Reiki Teacher, Hyakuten Inamoto, a Buddhist monk from Kyoto Japan and Founder of Komyo ReikiDo™ - a 'Keep it Simple Reiki System' based in Japanese aestheic. Karen began training with Hyakuten Sensei in 2008, 10 years into her practice of Reiki Ryōhō. She has 'sat' Shinpiden level twelve times, hosted Sensei's Shinpiden twice in Boston, and visited him in Kyoto Japan, in 2011. She finds is teachings and Reiju (attunements) of great value, and both the depth and simplicity of his style of reiki especially helpful in healthcare settings.

Karen has been employed to offer Reiki as an Integrative Health Nurse Consultant since 1999, both privately and employed as an RN/Reiki Provider in hospitals, including Northshore Medical Center, Mass General and Tufts Medical Center/Cancer Centers and other healthcare, community and senior care settings in the greater Boston area. Her work includes reiki research and writing for publication.
