Description

Professor Kenneth Benoit, Head of the Department of Methodology at LSE, will be visiting Exeter on Monday, Nov 19th and giving an introduction and tutorial for his R package Quanteda (see description below) in the Clayden computational science lab 3:30pm-5:30pm.

Quanteda is: “A fast, flexible, and comprehensive framework for quantitative text analysis in R. Provides functionality for corpus management, creating and manipulating tokens and ngrams, exploring keywords in context, forming and manipulating sparse matrices of documents by features and feature cooccurrences, analyzing keywords, computing feature similarities and distances, applying content dictionaries, applying supervised and unsupervised machine learning, visually representing text and text analyses, and more.” (https://tutorials.quanteda.io/)
