Introduction to programming with Scratch

Students will be introduced to fundamental programming concepts using Scratch, a visual programming language developed at MIT. Students will create their own games, animations, and various interactive projects using block-like puzzle pieces containing code that they can then upload and share with the MIT Scratch community. Computational concepts such as sequences, loops, conditionals, variables, operators, x/y axis, testing and debugging are covered. No previous programming experience necessary.
Ages 7 and up. **Must bring laptop**
