Description

During this fun and informal workshop you will:

  • Gain hands-on practical experience of the play therapy 'took-kit'.
  • Look at therapeutic approaches that may be utilised in your own setting
  • Gain a greater understanding of the therapeutic process and the role of the therapist
  • Learn about the psychological theories supporting play therapy practice
  • Who may benefit from Play Therapy
  • How to refer a child for Play Therapy

This training is for you if you have an interest in children’s mental health, including:

  • Primary and Nursery Teachers and TA’s
  • Social Workers
  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Parents
  • Adoption and Fostering agency workers
  • Family Support workers

  • Playworkers
  • Care home staff
  • Occupational therapists
  • Youth workers

Everyone is welcome and no prior knowledge or experience is necessary.

With 15 years of experience and enthusiasm to share, Jacqui is an engaging trainer and her workshops are experiential, informal and fun. We have workshops running throughout the year in various venues.
