Event description

Description

Permaculture is a framework for creating low-maintenance, nature-friendly lifestyles. It's about observing how nature works and applying these principles to our own projects. Anything from design of a food garden up to a whole way of life design.

Introduction to Permaculture is a one day workshop giving you an overview of Permaculture, its key design tools and some practical applications.

After this workshop, you will be ready to get started in Permaculture!

The workshop will cover:

  • Permaculture thinking
  • the history of Permaculture
  • Permaculture ethics and principles
  • key Permaculture design tools

  • practical activities

and give you the opportunity to discuss your own interests and projects.

This is a stand-alone workshop as well as a good introduction before going on to a full Permaculture Design Course (72-hour course certified by the Permaculture Association of Great Britain).
