Introduction to Mindfulness

In this 4 hour introductory course, meditation instructor Micah Anderson will introduce the basics of mindfulness defined as present-moment awareness of internal states such as sensations, thoughts, and emotions, as well as external surroundings. Mindfulness can be cultivated both formally through meditational practices and informally by training ourselves to bring more presence to our daily activities. This workshop will include guided meditations, teachings, and plenty of room for questions, authentic sharing, and curiosity. Come learn about the tools needed to help increase deeper engagement and meaning in your day-to-day life. Step out of auto-pilot with this exciting introductory course!
