By becoming more aware of the present moment, we begin to experience and see anew things that we had previously been taking for granted, things that we hardly knew we overlooked. For this reason, mindfulness has appealed to a wide range of people on the continuum of mental health.

Mindfulness has shown to be an effective treatment for stress, anxiety and even depression. If you tend to find yourself in your head a lot, worrying about what has happened or dreading what might happen, then mindfulness may work for you.
