Why Baseball and Medical Improv?

Healthcare and Baseball teams are both human Complex Adaptive Systems that require learning and adapting to changing environments and relationships. Jim Mecir was born with a club foot yet he played professional baseball for 15 years. He learned all about having a resilient mindset - cultivating relationships, accepting feedback, tolerating uncertainty, and remaining calm in stressful situations.
