About this event
Today’s manufacturing industry offers a variety of career opportunities for students with interests in art, gaming, inventing, building, and more. There are nearly 4,000 manufacturing companies in Connecticut that employ over 160,000 workers, and training for a manufacturing career is now easily accessible and facilitates a clear pathway for career growth.
Learn about manufacturing in Connecticut, how the industry is evolving, and available career opportunities and pathways. This is a great workshop for K-16 educators who are interested in learning about what manufacturing looks like today and how their students can get a head start on preparing for a rewarding career in the industry.
