Description

This workshop will be a classroom course with a limited hands on portion. The workshop is designed as an introduction to high speed liquid art photography techniques, and we will cover high speed photographic capture of water drops, paint collisions, water refraction, sound stimulated liquid art and other liquid art and macro photography related techniques.

What we will cover in the classroom:

  • Liquid Art Lighting Techniques and Equipment
  • Flash Duration and it’s Importance to Liquid Art Photography
  • Liquid Art Photography Sequencing and Timing
  • Refraction and it’s use in Liquid Art Photography
  • Focus and Depth of Field in Liquid Art Photography
  • Liquid Art Photography Resources
  • Hands-On Refraction Session
  • Hands-On Measurement of Flash Duration

What you should bring:

  • Your Camera
  • Your Speedlight Flash (If you have one)
  • Your Tripod
