Description

MathAndCoding, an award-winning Silicon Valley teen volunteer team of computer instructors, presents a three week Java workshop for students, 5th - 11th grade with no previous experience in Java. Students learn most of the basic concepts of Java including but not limited to the arithmetic/logic operations, control structures, loops, functions and basic introduction to Object Oriented Programming. Space is limited and registration is required. Register online only if you can attend all 3 Saturday afternoon sessions: September 2, 9, and 16. Students are expected to bring their own laptops. A limited number of laptops may be available for loan.

Please download the JDK and Eclipse IDE for developing and running Java programs. You can refer to http://www.mathandcoding.org/online-java-tutorial.html for instructions on how to download and install them.
