The interconenct is increasingly the part of the a cluster that can make or break a HPC system or a Data Intensive System. We will distill in three one-hour lectures the following:-
- Describing your system in terms of data flow, sources and sinks.
- What is the role of inerconnect and how best to choose what you need?
- Case Studies of HPC and Data Intensive Systems.
We hope that after these lectures you'll be able to think about high perfomant computing and data analytics in a logical manner and be able to use this in practical cluster design.
