Watched improv comedy and thought "I'd like to give that a try"? An actor looking to train up on ever popular improv skills? Needing help with public speaking skills? Just wanting to be comfortable not knowing what'll happen next?


Whoever you are, whatever your background, if you're wanting to learn the skills of improv from the start and to be left with a solid grounding in improv, then this is the course for you.


Over 8-weeks, discover - through the supportive, collaborative process we call improv performance - how to create stories, characters and ideas to captivate an audience right before their eyes. Develop those public speaking skills to allow easier and more natural dialogs with your audience. Learn how to relish the opportunity to embrace the unexpected!

About your teacher:
Caroline Mathison is a professionally trained actor, clown and improviser from Edinburgh. She has performed at venues and festivals around the UK and Europe, undertaken additional training with legendary practitioners, and has been a core member of TBC since 2011.

As a teacher and facilitator she values community and connection: fostering playfulness and creative expression in a friendly, supportive environment. Follow the fun and find the joy!
