Event Details

Learn how to hand code web pages using Hypertext Markup Language. Even if you use a visual editor, such as Adobe® Dreamweaver®, you will find it essential to have a basic working knowledge of HTML. Without a good foundation, it becomes nearly impossible to troubleshoot your page, or check that the code was written properly.

In this informative session, you will learn how HTML works, the structure of an HTML document, assigning tags, attributes and values.  We will also delve into tag hierarchy, placing images in HTML, using Hexadecimal colors, case sensitivity and whitespace rules. Along with general web design & coding guidelines.

We will also cover these topics:

  • Tags
  • Attributes
  • Values
  • HTML Structure
  • Browser Compatibility
  • Screen Sizes & Resolution
  • Using an HTML Editor

All eClasses are recorded for playback & practice. Class files are also provided for download, that way you can work along with the recording after the class to re-enforce topics learned.

Average class size is 2 - 4 students.

***All class times are in the PACIFIC Time Zone
