Description

."Your Gut-Brain Connection – Could it Be Hijacking Your Health?"

Today we live in a world of unfolding epidemics that appear to have symptoms and underlying causes which mysteriously overlap.

Have you or your child been touched by one of these rapidly growing conditions? Consider these questions:

- Do you or your child have a history of gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort, digestive issues, food allergies or food intolerances?

- Have you been diagnosed with depression, psychosis, or schizophrenia?

- Have you or your child been diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, or other learning disabilities?

- Do you or your child have a history of urinary tract infections or acne that were treated with antibiotics, and you later developed abdominal pain, bloating, and symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)?

- Do you suffer from chronic cystitis, mood swings, anxiety, poor memory or difficulty with focus and concentrating?

- Did you or your child ever suffer from colic, loose stools, constipation, eczema, or asthma, and got treated with antibiotics for ear or upper respiratory infections?

- Do you or a loved one have a history of painful or irregular menstruation accompanied by migraines?

- Did your child appear "normal" in his or her first year of life, but then become autistic, hyperactive, aggressive, or develop other abnormal behaviors?

- Do you or a loved one suffer from an immune disorder?

If you answer "yes" to one or more of this questions you need to attend this GAPS Presentation.

GAPS stands for Gut and Psychology Syndrome. GAPS is a condition, which establishes a connection between the function of the brain and the digestive system.

This healing protocol, developed by Dr. Natasha Campell-Mc-Bride, MD, MMedSci (Neurology), MMedSci ( Human Nutrition), has been very successful for children and adults with autism, ADD/ADHD, depression, dyslexia/dyspraxia, eating disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, OCD. IBS, and other digestive issues. It also helps with eczema, asthma, bed wetting, chronic ear infections, chronic cystitis, thrush, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

The GAPS approach works on three levels:

  1. First healing and sealing the gut by avoiding all foods that damage or irritates the gut.
  2. Second only eat healing and nourishing foods. And repopulate the gut with beneficial bacteria, supplementing with probiotics and homemade fermented foods.
  3. Third detoxing the body by eating clean and safe, gentle foods for your digestion, build up a strong gut flora to detox and introduce supplementing nutrients.

This two-hour class will be taught by Adriana Maluf, GAPS Practitioner, NHC, PPT. Just bring your pen and a notebook, and you'll learn how GAPS can help you and how to get started.
