Introduction to ENVI Analytics

In this course you’ll learn about the core functionality of ENVI, the image analysis software of choice for image scientists, image analysts, and GIS professionals. The course will cover the basics of working with ENVI, and will also cover topics such as object oriented feature extraction using ENVI’s Feature Extraction module. You will also be given an introduction to hyperspectral data analysis. The course combines a mixture of lectures and hands on exercises, and incorporates data from various multispectral, hyperspectral and radar sensors, including QuickBird, AVHRR, SPOT, Landsat, TMS, and USGS Digital Elevation Models.
Prerequisites: A basic level of remote sensing knowledge is necessary to take advantage of what this course has to offer.
