Introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EI)
In this fun and engaging class, now open to all employees, participants will learn about emotions through a combination of a self-assessment, videos and group discussions. EI involves four important skills: self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness and relationship-management. These are essential skills for navigating the people side of work and for both internal and external customer service. Research has revealed that EI (or Emotional Quotient – EQ) is much more a determiner of career success than IQ (or Intelligence Quotient). And new research shows you can improve BOTH your EQ and IQ!
