Thu, April 27, 2017, 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM EDT
Kristen Eby from SES Environmental will be presenting an Introduction to Corporate Sustainability: Examples of what some companies have done, and easy areas to start a sustainability program.
Sustainability is often defined as the perfect balance between PEOPLE, PLANET and PROFIT – or the “Triple Bottom Line.” It is seen by many businesses as a way to stay competitive, especially as we head towards the future. Numerous companies and organizations have initiated sustainable business practices through facility management, employee engagement, product design and responsible marketing of their green initiatives. Kristin Eby will be presenting on the sustainability initiatives and successes of a local Fort Wayne company to share specific examples of each of these areas, including LEED or “Green Building” Certification and reformulation / packaging reduction measures to reduce cost as well as natural resources. Please join us and bring your questions and experiences to share.
