About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours 30 minutes

What does it take to get a great cup of coffee? Follow along specialty coffee’s Seed-To-Cup journey to learn how it all comes together.

We’ll discuss coffee farms and growing from past to present. Terroir, species, and green coffee processing methods all effect the finished cup.

Next, peek inside a roaster and learn about the changes that take place during the roasting process.

After calibrating our palates to basic tastes, we'll talk about the Coffee Tasters Flavor Wheel and practice sensory evaluation in a coffee cupping.

We’ll also practice brewing coffee using a pour-over brewing device.
