Event Details

Christine Lawlor-King, CIC's Education Director, presents the first in a series of CIC professional development classes in support of the CIC Program.  This session, Introduction to the CIC Program, is a lively and engaging class that previews the CIC Curriculum, including NGSS-aligned activities, and outlines logistics for implementing a successful CIC program. Highly recommended for K-12 Teachers new to CIC.
The fee is $90 and includes all program materials, continental breakfast and lunch.

What are my parking options for the event?

Parking is free!

When should I check-in?

Check-in begins at 8 AM with a light breakfast and time to network with your CIC colleagues. Training starts promptly at 8:30 AM and ends at 4 PM.

Do I need to bring anything with me? 

No, all program materials will be provided!  Bring your energy and enthusiasm and be prepared to leave energized, inspired, and ready to teach the CIC program to your students!

The Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC) is a multiple awards winning, recognized, 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational program designed to develop and enhance critical thinking skills in children in grades K-12 through invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while encouraging their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
