Introduction to Blacksmithing (1-Day)
If the idea of forging hot metal using only a fire and a hammer intrigues you, then this is the course for you!
Come have a day of fun discovering what blacksmithing is all about. We’ll learn some of the basic tools and their uses, and how to start and maintain a coal fire. We’ll also learn a few essentially techniques, and perhaps create an heirloom in the process.
This day long class is open to students with no prior forging experience.
Saturday, April 9, 2017, 9:30-4
Course Fee: $115 ($100 LCMM Members)
Please bring a lunch, water, closed toed shoes, long pants, and preferably clothing made from natural fibers. Dress warm for winter workshops! The forge will warm up over the day, but start out chilly.

LCMM Course & Workshop Refund and Cancellation Policy: Should you need to request a refund or switch to another date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to help.
