Are you new to shooting? Have you ever wanted to learn how to properly shoot a handgun but was afraid or felt too embarrassed? Would you like to learn more before you take a basic pistol class? Then this is the course for you.

This one-day course is designed for the new shooter. This course covers safe gun handling and basic shooting skills. The classroom portion teaches gun safety rules, proper handling techniques, how firearms work and the fundamentals of shooting--all in a comfortable, no pressure environment. The range portion give students the opportunity to apply skills learned and shoot live ammunition. Successful completion of this course allows students to enroll in the Basic Pistol Course.
